The idea for Kikli hit me around 6 months ago, but I could only overcome the laziness to actually execute it recently. I instantly looked up to my dad for guidance as mentorship and entrepreneurship are things he is passionate about. He guided me and gave me the push that I needed.
So for the past 2 months or so, I’ve been creating my website, logo, lesson plans and curriculums and even writing my first blog post, but most important of all, the things I was writing on this website finally started making sense to me. All the stuff about my own foundation that used to confuse me finally seeped into my mind. I will admit that this epiphany was fairly recent and a long time after I started working on my foundation.
Moving forward, we want to inspire the kids we teach and want them to look up to us. I want to make a difference in their lives. I hope to learn more about the world and even myself through helping others. I’ve heard other people talking about this stuff and I want to see if it’s true and how fulfilling it really feels.
We are going to have a few pilots at various orphanages and with the children of housemaids and drivers in our apartment communities.
But, I’m happy to say that I finally have a vision of my own in my mind and gained the ambition to finally execute this and I can’t wait to see where this takes me.
Sincerely,
Myra
